Murder accused killed near Nampally court

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old man, named accused in a 2020 murder case when he was a juvenile, was allegedly stabbed to death by the victim’s family members shortly after he left the juvenile court premises at Nampally on Thursday.The victim was identified as Ayan Qureishi from Hafeez Baba Nagar.On Thursday morning, Ayan went to the juvenile court in Nampally to attend the trial of the 2020 murder case. “Ayan was one of the accused in the murder case of one Munawar in the Kanchanbagh police station limits in 2020. He came to the juvenile court to attend the trial,” Nampally inspector K Narayana Reddy said.Around 11am, Ayan left the court premises after the hearing and reached MNJ Hospital road nearby. He was attacked by four to five suspects with sticks and knives in broad daylight. By the time the Nampally police reached the crime scene, Ayan died on the spot with severe injuries.In his complaint to police, Ayan’s father Ishaq Qureishi alleged that his son was murdered by Munawar’s family members, Md Aslam Siddiqui, Syed Usman, and others. Based on Ishaq’s complaint, the Nampally police have registered a case under Section 103 (1) (Murder) of the BNS and the Arms Act. Police also seized some of the weapons used in the commission of the offence near the crime scene.The victim, along with his family, runs a meat shop at Hafeez Baba Nagar. Police special teams launched a manhunt to nab the accused, and some of the suspects have already been taken into custody.
