Telangana MLA Assurance Stopped Suicide Bid Of Indiramma Housing Applicant

Nizamabad: An Indiramma housing scheme applicant, M. Sailoo from Mallaram village in Nizamabad rural mandal, attempted to end his life by climbing a cell phone tower after his name was left out of the latest list of beneficiaries. Villagers and police rushed to the spot and pleaded with him to come down, assuring that his issue would be addressed.

Sailoo had already begun constructing his house and completed the basement, anticipating financial assistance under the Indiramma housing scheme. However, when the latest list was released, his name was missing. Distressed over the exclusion, he climbed the tower in protest and threatened to jump.

As the situation grew tense, villagers alerted Nizamabad Rural MLA R. Bhupathi Reddy. Responding swiftly, the MLA spoke to Sailoo over the phone and assured him that he would receive the housing aid. He urged him to climb down and promised to resolve the issue. Following the assurance, Sailoo climbed down from the tower, bringing immense relief to his family and the residents of Mallaram village.
