Kurnool: District collector P. Ranjit Basha on Monday handed over laptops to two female students as part of an initiative by the department of welfare of differently-abled persons to support their education and digital learning. Speaking on the occasion, the collector said the state government is committed to empowering deserving differently-abled students by providing laptops to those pursuing polytechnic, degree, and other professional courses. He encouraged the beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunity by using the devices to strengthen their academic skills and aim for higher achievements. Assistant director of the department for the welfare of differently-abled persons Raees Fatima also participated in the programme.
