Its a machine I would not think twice irrespective of the purpose to take out and ride.

10,000 km Breached:
Always a very special feeling when your machine enters the five figure territory on the odometer. 6 months, 18 days from the day this machine entered my life and every single kilometer was with a huge grin. After the stator coil issue at around 1500 km, the next 8,500 kilometers have been more or less flawless.
Satisfying to see the odo tick to the magical number
With an average of 50 km per day, with only the periodic service at around 5k and me cleaning and lubing the chain once in 2 weeks (two weeks of commute and weekend rides considering no WFHs comes at least 440 km minimum, maximum could be around 600 if longer weekend rides are also done), I believe, this has largely been an amazing and peaceful experience. Only gives me the confidence to continue riding more without worry.

Never gets old to see a sport bike in this stance for cleaning and lubing the chain

Immediate Observations/Changes Required:
- Periodic Engine Oil Change – This time, periodic service is still far off – 20K as per manual/in September as mentioned by service center during 2nd free service. So oil change alone needs to be done around 10.4 k as this last oil change was done at 5.4k.
- Brake Pads (especially back one) – Rear brake pads are completely shot. Hardly any feedback which I guess is expected considering the usage. Needs to be replaced along with oil change.
I will be doing the above, 2 weeks from now as I won’t be in town from 23rd to 27th May and bike will anyway be idle.
Overall this is one of the most understated and versatile machines out there. A machine I would not think twice irrespective of the purpose to take out and ride. If you guys have any questions, would love to answer them.
Until next time,
Ride Safe!
