Sorry for not updating the thread for almost a year. The bike remains a low mileage one but there have been lots of updates, equipment wise and otherwise, including a full 5th year Service Report, which I would be updating shortly.
Battery Jump Start Cable – 01-12-2024
The battery was somehow giving me a little trouble, even though it was still under warranty. Maybe due top very less usage and no permanent trickle charger attached. So I decided to make a Jump start cable, just in case –
Made it with 4mm high quality multi-strand wire –
Close Look at the Alligator Clips sourced from Amazon –
Fits nicely under the rear seat –
Also added a spare CR2032 button cell for the remote –

Exide Battery replaced under warranty (FOC) – 06-12-2024
As I had mentioned, that the Exide Battery started giving me trouble after about a year, due to less usage. However it was promptly changed, free of cost, by my Exide dealer, with a new unit – Model XLTX14
Voltage being tested before installation –
Ready to be attached to the bike with di-electric grease and a new Optimate Battery Lead for charging –

Optimate Battery Lead – 06-12-2024
Here’s a closer look at the very well made, Optimate Battery Lead – Model O01. Comes with a covered SAE charging adapter at one end and 2 extra sets of replaceable, different coloured, waterproof rubber covers –
Finally attached to the bike along with the new battery –
A closer look with proper zip ties –
Testing on the Navigator 6 –
Testing with my nearly 10 years old Harley Battery Chargerthat I got from AliExpress. Need to get a permanent trickle charger for the Beemer too –

4 Port Switched & 1 Port Unswitched Accessory Harness – 11-12-2024
So a thought came to create a Accessory Connection Harness, commercial products of which, I had seen online. It all starts with a OE Fuse Box from a Royal Enfield Bullet / Classic 350 (old model). Costs about 2~300 bucks –
Here’s the final product created with detailed wiring diagram (self explanatory) –
Fuse Box Legend –
Fits nicely under the front seat of the beter –
Look from another angle –
Attached to the bike’s battery for testing –
Though I have removed this from the bike for now. will attach it, as and when needed.
Much more to follow… Cheers
