L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) announced a 10% discount on the newly revised fares, across all fare zones in all the three metro corridors. It will come into effect from Saturday (May 24, 2025).
The hike in fares was announced on May 15, 2025, which came into effect from May 17. According to it, the charges were increased by two rupees for the minimum fare of ₹10, to ₹15 for the maximum fare of ₹60. After the discount, the minimum fare is likely to be ₹11 and the maximum fare would be ₹68.
Mr. Reddy said L&TMRH has decided to provide the 10% discount based on passenger’s feedback on the newly revised fares.

While the fare revision was essential for maintaining the sustainability of metro operationswe understand the importance of minimizing the financial impact on our valued passengers.
