Victims lost their lives because of the smoke inhalation
Director General of Telangana Disaster Response and Fire Services, Y Nagi Reddy confirmed to ANI that the first started from Krishna Pearls. Rescue teams tried their best to save the people who were trapped, but the building structure impacted their efforts. He stated that the,” entrance was barely two metres wide and resembled a tunnel, while a narrow, one-metre staircase was the only access to the upper floors,” he noted. These restrictions ultimately slowed down the evacuation process and the rescue operations. The fire was controlled by 9 am, and at that time, a total of 21 people were inside the building. The fire chief also clarified that none of the victims died because of burn injuries rather all of them died because of smoke inhalation.
