The Los Angeles Sparks travel to face the Phoenix Mercury in a must-see Wednesday night WNBA matchup.
The Sparks are looking to bounce back after their 89-75 loss to the Minnesota Lynx. Azura Stevens led the Sparks with 21 points, while Dearica Hamby and Kelsey Plum contributed a combined total of 38 points. Despite their efforts, the team was unable to overcome the Lynx, who made the WNBA Finals last season.
The Mercury, on the other hand, had a stellar season debut, overpowering the Seattle Storm with an 81-59 victory. Satou Sabally, with her impressive 27 points, and Alyssa Thomas, who contributed 20 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, were instrumental in this first victory of the season.
