A Physical Education Teacher (PET) at the Zilla Parishad High School in Mavala village of Adilabad district was arrested by the police for allegedly misbehaving with girl students.
The accused, identified as Gundi Mahesh, 54, was booked under Section 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, following a complaint of misbehaviour filed by the aggrieved girl students against him with the SHE Team of the district police on Monday, police said.
A separate case was registered against him under Section 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on a complaint by a yoga teacher.
