The Kia Carens Clavis is finally here! The South Korean automaker has launched the premium MPV at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The model lineup is available in seven variants – HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX, and HTX+ – and eight colour options – – Ivory Silver Gloss, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, and Clear White.

The carmaker says that the Kia Clavis has been “designed for modern, big families, this premium recreational vehicle bridges the gap between MPVs and SUVs.” The new Kia family car is available in 6 and 7-seater configurations, featuring a spacious third-row and a flexible second-row with one touch electric tumble and segment-first walk-in lever (Boss Mode) for easy access.

The Kia Clavis is essentially a significantly updated version of the Carens, packed with several advanced features and tech. The MPV offers the best-in-segment 26.62-inch dual panoramic display panel – for the infotainment system and instrument cluster.

Some of its key features are 64-colour ambient lighting, dual pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 4-way powered driver’s seat, 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, seat mounted smart pure air purifier with AQI display and roof mounted diffused air vents. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed torque convertor automatic (diesel only), and a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (turbo-petrol only).
