The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has introduced two new big bikes in India – the Honda CB750 Hornet and the Honda CB1000 Hornet. While the former id priced at Rs 8,59,500, the latter comes with a price tag of Rs 12,35,900. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom, Gurugram.
Interested buyers can book both bikes across all Honda BigWing Topline dealerships. The CB750 Hornet can also be pre-booked by Honda BigWing showrooms. Deliveries of the new Honda bikes will begin in June 2025.

First thing first, the engine. The Honda CB750 Hornet derives its power from a 755cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine, producing a maximum power of 91.77PS at 9,500rpm and 75Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. The same motor powers the Honda XL750 Transalpwhich is slated to hit roads in coming months.
The CB1000 Hornet uses a 999cc, four-cylinder, in-line engine, pushing out a peak power of 157.17PS at 11,000rpm and 107Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. Both bikes come with a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. However, the CB1000 gets a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

The Honda Hornet 750 is equipped with a Showa 41mm inverted frok with 130mm of travel and a monoshock suspension with 150mm of wheel travel. It features 296mm dual discs and a 240mm disc at the rear along with the dual-channel ABS. This bike has been assembled with the 17-inch front and rear wheels, fitted with a 120-section front and a 160-section rear tyres. The Horent 750 offers a fuel tank of 15.2-litres and ground clearance of 140mm. It has a seat height of 795mm and a kerb weight of 192kg. The 750 Hornet offers four riding modes – Standard, Rain, Sport and User.
The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP features a Showa 41mm inverted fork with 118mm of wheel travel and an Ohlins monoshock with 139mm of wheel travel. Braking power comes from dual 310mm front discs with Brembo radially-mounted calipers. The bike comes fitted with the 17-inch wheels, shod with a 120-section front and a 180-section rear tyre. The Hornet CB1000 offers a fuel tank capacity of 17-litres, a ground clearance of 135mm, a seat height of 809mm and a kerb weight of 212kg. It has two User modes and self cancelling turn indicators.
