The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for six districts in Telangana and a thunderstorm warning for all 33 districts on Sunday, May 25.
According to the latest IMD bulletin, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts. In addition, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated locations across all the 33 districts in the State.
For Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, for the next 24 hours, the IMD has forecast generally cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds, are expected in the city and surrounding areas. Hazy conditions are also likely during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32°C and 25°C respectively, the forecast said.
