The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday declared the results for Class 10 and 12 board examinations.
In terms of region-wise pass percentage in Class 10, Vijayawada Region (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ) along with Trivandrum topped by securing 99.79%, followed by Bengaluru 98.90%, Chennai 98.71%, Pune 96.54% and Ajmer 95.44%.
In Vijayawada, Delhi Public School celebrated the success of its students in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. School Director P. Pavan Chand said the school had achieved 100% pass rate in both Class 10 and Class 12. In Class 10, Yalavarthi Sreshta scored 492 out of 500 marks, Anguluri Shrutika secured 491 out of 500 and Jaitha Sree Rithanya secured third position scoring 484 out of 500.
In Class 12 results from the Science stream, Naina Tabitha Sheelam scored the highest 477 marks, while in the Commerce stream, G. Nishanth Reddy scored 463 marks and M. Jaya Harshan Reddy from Humanities scored 469 out of 500.
