The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert in eight Telangana districts for Monday, May 26.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, it is very likely for heavy rain to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, and Mahabubnagar districts of Telangana. Meanwhile, gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places all across the State.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see light to moderate rains accompanied with gusty winds. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33 and 23 respectively, the IMD bulletin stated.
