Expedite Warangal Hospital Works: CS K. Ramakrishna Rao


Warangal: Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao directed officials to expedite the construction and developmental works of the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital, which is being developed to provide advanced medical services to the people of North Telangana.

He chaired a review meeting at the hospital premises with special chief secretary (roads and buildings) Vikas Raj, Hanamkonda collector Praveenya, Warangal collector Satya Sharada and other concerned officials on Monday.

Addressing the meeting, Ramakrishna Rao said the hospital is the super specialty hospital only government facility of its kind in the country being constructed with such a massive allocation of funds. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is keen on completing the project quickly so it can begin serving the poor and emerge as a landmark healthcare institution for the region, he explained.

He said the hospital is being designed to become an iconic symbol of quality healthcare in North Telangana, and officials must ensure that the construction is completed within the stipulated deadline.

Later, Ramakrishna Rao and Vikas Raj, along with senior officials, conducted an on-site inspection of the construction activities. Officials presented the construction maps and provided updates on the hospital’s progress to the Chief Secretary.

Director of medical health Dr Narendra Kumar, R&B chief engineer Rajeshwar Reddy, superintending engineer Nagendra, L&T area manager Venkat Reddy, KMC principal Dr Ramkumar Reddy and MGM Hospital superintendent Dr Kishore were among those present.
