TVS Motor Company has released the first teaser video of the upcoming new Jupiter 125 scooter ahead of its market arrival. The teaser video shows the scooter’s rear section, which appears to be slightly revised with new taillamp and a single piece pillion grab rail. Painted in a Copper colour, the teased model features a single-piece seat. Details of the new TVS Jupiter 125 will be revealed at its official launch in the coming months. Here’s everything we can expect from the new model.
Design Changes:
The new Jupiter 125 will retain its original design language. However, it’s expected to come with slightly updated horizontally positioned LED DRLs, LED turn indicators and LED taillamps. Elements such as the front fuel filler cap, 12-inch wheel, larger underseat storage, and front petal disc brakes will remain unchanged. The existing TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation could be replaced with a digital instrument cluster featuring TVS SmartXonnect.

No mechanical changes are expected. The new TVS Jupiter 125 is likely to continue with the existing 125cc, single-cylinder engine, generating a maximum power of 8bhp and 10.5Nm of torque. The scooter will also be benefited with the iGo Assist and a CVT gearbox.
Launch Date & Competition:
The launch date of the new 2025 TVS Jupiter 125 is yet to be revealed. However, it’s expected to hit showrooms in the coming months, possibly just before the 2025 festive season. When launched, it will continue to take on the new Suzuki Access, Yamaha Fascino, Honda Activa 125 and Hero Destini 125.
Expected Price:
With subtle design changes and feature upgrades, the new Jupiter 125 is expected to witness a minor price hike. Currently, the scooter is available in the price range of Rs 80,640 – Rs 91,821 (all, ex-showroom).
