The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange (heavy to very heavy rainfall) alert to four Telangana districts and a yellow (heavy rain) alert to 15 districts, including Hyderabad, for Wednesday.
According to IMD’s latest bulletin, heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Jangaon and Siddipet districts.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy districts.
Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see generally cloudy sky.
“Light to moderate rain accompanied with gusty winds is very likely to occur in the city. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 degree Celsius and 24 degree Celsius respectively,” the bulletin said.
