SonyLIV’s sports streaming has been quite pathetic for some time now. There are already loads of ads and now the platform adds another problem to the list.
SonyLIV is streaming the French Open and though it is not as popular as the Cricket and Football tournaments, it has still got a decent following.

But when multiple matches are going on at the same time, SonyLIV is showing the same match in multiple feeds.
@Sonyliv makes watching the French Open such a punishing experience. I basically pay them to show me the same match in 4 different feeds. Most don’t even mention which court is being aired. So you manually check each one, watch ads each time, and still end up with the same match!

@Sonyliv what is the bloody point of showing the same live French Open match on two different channels viz. Zeppieri-Alcaraz and Osaka-Badoaa being telecast right now?

@Sonyliv Though there are five streams for live telecast of French Open, on three you are showing the Navarro match. Please show the Raducanu match on one stream.

It does not make any sense in showing the same match on different feeds. The platform should use its full potential to stream. Otherwise it is a wasted opportunity. There is a possibility that SonyLIV is not giving the French Open much importance because it is not Cricket or Football.
But fans are comparing it to Fancode and if the platform wants to keep its subscribers, it should do the needful and stream with more care. Many important matches are being completely ignored and fans are not being able to watch them because of SonyLIV’s problematic streaming.
