Three people, including one from Tenali in the district and a couple from Eluru tested positive with the COVID-19 and are being treated at a private hospital in Mangalagiri, confirmed the health officials.
K. Vijayalakshmi, DMHO of Guntur confirmed with The Hindu over phone on Tuesday that, “We got the information that the three people, including a couple from Eluru and one from Tenali are admitted with the COVID-19 symptoms at a hospital in Guntur district on Monday. They are being provided with suitable treatment at the hospital and we are monitoring their health condition.”
The DMHO further informed that, out of the three patients, two are women and one male. The person from Tenali is a woman, the DMHO informed.
