Vida VX2 Electric Scooter Launch On 1st July – What to Expect?

Hero MotoCorp introduced ‘Vida’ as its mobility solutions brand in early 2022, and the Vida V1 electric scooter was the first product to come under this electric sub-brand. Aiming to further expand its Vida product lineup, the home-grown two-wheeler maker is set to launch a new model called Vida VX2 on 1st July, 2025. Prior to its official unveiling, images of the scooter have emerged on the web, revealing its design details and features.

Design & Features:

The overall design and styling of the Vida VX2 appear similar to the Vida V2, which was unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Painted in bright yellow shade, the electric scooter shares some design elements with the Vida V2 including the headlight, LED taillight, 12-inch wheels and a switchgear. However, its TFT display is smaller than Vida V2’s 7-inch TFT console. A single-piece seat and physical key slot suggest it will be an affordable offering. It also has a conventional key instead a keyless start system.

Battery Options, Suspension & Brakes:

While the specifications of the Vida VX2 are yet to be revealed officially, the leaked images hint it will come with multiple battery pack options as the model features a ‘Plus’ suffix. The Vida V2 is currently available with three battery packs – a 2.2kWh, a 3.4kWh and a 3.94kWh. Hero might use one or more of these battery options for the VX2. The electric scooter will feature telescopic fork upfront and dual shock absorbers at the rear, while the braking power will come from the front disc brake.

Prices & Rivals:

Trademark filings suggest that the Vida VX2 lineup will be spread across three variants – VX2 GO, VX2 Plus and VX2 Pro. When it comes to pricing, this new Vida electric scooter is expected to cost around Rs 79,000 for the base variant. It will compete against the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta and Ola S1X.
