The water and tides at this Pacific Ocean coast are known for their violent nature, so I didn’t venture too far in my BMW X3 M40i.

Last weekend was a long one (Memorial Day), so we did a 500-mile road trip over 3 days and for the first time, I got an opportunity to drive the BMW on a beach.
Yup, that’s right, you can drive right on the beach and, depending on your appetite, can go as close to the water as you can.
But, the water and tides at this Pacific Ocean coast are legendary for their violent nature, so I didn’t venture too far and drove about 10 feet away from the water-line for the entire stretch of the beach.
This is one of the few beaches in the US where you can actually drive on the beach. It was a fun experience.
As soon as I was back, I got the car thoroughly washed (including the underbody) so there are no damages to it from the salt water.
We can’t wait to go back to Ocean Shores again.
Drove the car during day daytime as well as at sunset.
Washed and back to its original glory before it enters home.
