Jagan Puts Special Focus on His Legal Team

Since YSRCP is now in the opposition, several cases against its leaders are being actively pursued by the police. Bail applications are either getting delayed or being rejected, and in many instances, fresh cases are being filed soon after bail is granted. Jagan is believed to have reviewed these developments and identified possible gaps in legal handling.

Reportedly, he feels that the existing legal team may not be sufficient to handle the growing number of cases and the increasing legal pressure. The party’s legal cell leaders also brought up the rising workload due to the surge in cases and the implications of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) law.

They pointed out that stronger legal representation is needed, especially in the Supreme Court. It is said they suggested hiring two or three more experienced advocates to strengthen the team. Jagan is believed to have approved this proposal.

Currently, leaders like Vamsi, Borugadda, and Kakani Govardhan Reddy are facing serious legal hurdles. While the existing team has been presenting arguments in court, Jagan reportedly feels that more powerful voices are needed to make a greater impact.

As part of this strategy, YSRCP is considering onboarding new legal professionals. The move is aimed at boosting confidence among party workers and leaders during this challenging time.
