The Annual Mahanadu of the Telugu Desam Party has been concluded.
It was the first Mahanadu after the Sensational Victory in 2024.

The party strategically chose Kadapa, the native district of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to serve a Psychological blow to the Opposition and it worked big time as the three-day affair witnessed a sea of party supporters gathered.
The party plenary happened in the first two days and each day around 30,000 cadres and leaders arrived from Andhra and Telangana. Every thing from their parking, seating, and food arrangements were meticulously planned.

The Party discussed at length the one year rule, the road ahead, and important party policies.
A huge public meeting with Five Lakh people in attendance happened on the third day today. All in all, it was a blockbuster event for the TDP.

But it is not devoid of a disappointment.
From the past one week or so, Media was abuzz with the reports that Nara Lokesh will be elevated in the party as the Executive President or the Party’s Working President.
On the first day of Mahanadu, even Eenadu carried a report suggesting the same.
Even a few leaders demanded Lokesh’s elevation from the Mahanadu Dias.
But then, the Mahanadu concluded without any such announcement.
It is a disappointment for the cadres. Initially, they wanted Lokesh as the Deputy CM but Chandrababu Naidu brushed the demand down the carpet.
They thought the Working President is a good start to begin somewhere but even that did not happen now.
It is a massive transformation for Lokesh from 2014 to today.
He was subjected to a massive Political Propaganda as YSR Congress used Social Media and WhatsApp extensively to brand him negatively.
As a result, he also lost his first election in Mangalagiri.
After the defeat, Lokesh moulded himself into a People’s Leader. He improved his personality, oratory skills, and more importantly established a human connect with the people.
He is easily one of the most popular leaders in Telugu Politics today.
His transformation is so amazing that even TDP’s Arch-Rival, BRS MLC Kavitha openly praised Lokesh’s Comeback.
In the same Mangalagiri where he lost, Lokesh registered a Sensation Victory with a whopping 91,413 votes majority in the 2024 elections.
The way how he emerged as a Leader thwarting a Propaganda itself is the biggest Leadership Quality.
The Cadre is wondering what is holding Chandrababu Naidu back as Lokesh got ultimate acceptance in the cadre and public with his accomplishments in the last few years.
