Superstar Mahesh Babu enjoys a massive fan following both in and outside of the country. His cult film, Khaleja, has been re-released in theaters. Although the film, originally released in 2010, failed at the box office, Khaleja remains a fan favorite. The film has now been re-released with a new 4K remastered version and Dolby Atmos sound.
During a screening in Vijayawada, a die-hard fan of Mahesh Babu brought a real snake into the theater. Inspired by an entry scene where Mahesh Babu appears with a snake, the fan attempted to re-create the moment, causing panic among the audience.
The theater management, observing the commotion, promptly escorted him out of the theater.
Khaleja was directed by Trivikram Srinivas, with Anushka Shetty starring as the female lead. Mani Sharma is its music director.
