Suryapet: A student organization leader, Bari Ashok Kumar was arrested by the Suryapet police in Atmakur (S) mandal as part of their crackdown on ‘unemployed youths organising ‘Hyderabad Muttadi’ protest. The demonstration was aimed at highlighting issues of the jobless youths in the state while demanding government action. The protest call received an overwhelming response from students and youth activists.
Bari Ashok Kumar was taken into custody by police and shifted to a nearby police station to avoid any disruption to law and order.
