Mahindra is set to expand its EV (electric vehicle) portfolio with multiple new models, including born-electric and ICE converted into EV models. The latest sighting of the Mahindra BE Rall-E test mule has created a buzz among enthusiasts. The model was first showcased as a rugged, off-road-ready concept in 2023. Now, its production-ready version with heavy camouflage hit the roads for testing. It seems like Mahindra is closer than ever to launching this futuristic-looking electric SUV.
What we have noticed?

The overall silhouette of the spotted model appears similar to the concept, which was unveiled nearly two years ago. While the camouflage covers most of its design details, a few elements sill stand out such as the air scoop in the bonnet and a black roof rack. It also features circular headlamp cluster with projector LED elements and front parking sensors. However, the camouflaged model misses out on the fog lamps.
Interior images of the Mahindra BE Rall-E are not yet available. However, itβs expected to come with a two-spoke steering wheel borrowed from the BE 6. Many of its features might also be carried over from the Be6 and xev 9e.
Battery Pack & Specs:
The production-ready Mahindra BE Rall-e off-road electric SUV is likely to share its powertrains with the Mahindra BE 6, which is available with two battery packs β 59kWh and 79kWh. Both are paired with a single electric motor. The smaller battery pack delivers a maximum power of 231PS and 380Nm of torque, with a claimed MIDC range of 535km. The larger battery is good enough for 286PS and 380Nm, and promises a range of 682km.
Launch Date and Details:
The official launch date for the Mahindra BE Rall-e has yet to be revealed. However, this off-road electric SUV is expected to hit roads in late 2025. In terms of pricing, it might be slightly expensive offering than the Mahindra BE6, which currently costs between Rs 18.90 lakh β Rs 26.90 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
