Two rides have been done since I have shifted to Victoria.

We are back in business
At the end of April of this year, I got the plates from ICBC and also brought a private insurance policy from Agile. This is how it works:
ICBC is the sole authority in BC which provides us number plates and insurance coverage. My motorcycle being in the second highest category with regards to engine size was costing me a lot if I had brought all the coverage from ICBC. As far as I remember it was like $150/month but what I did and most of the motorcyclists do over here is:
1. Get the bare minimum coverage from ICBC but the liability part has to be covered by ICBC. I have no coverage from ICBC but my liability cover is $2 Million.
2. Get all the coverage from a private insurance. This year I went with Agile, I will try someone new next year. So, they gave me the coverage for my motorcycle’s value, gear is covered and there are many more things which honestly I don’t remember, if the plate expires (or you can say the insurance expires from ICBC) then the policy changes to a storage policy.
The end result is I am paying now $96/month to keep the bike on road.
What are the usage nowadays?
Well I am now using it daily for office commutes which is 9 KMs on one side and on weekends if weather and my body permits I am going for short rides.
I am recording my commutes daily using a GoPro, its kind of my dash cam so if you want you can see the footage on the YouTube. I will paste the link below:
Two rides have been done since I have shifted to Victoria.
1st was to take the Kawasaki for a country road drive, it was around 80 KMs and it was fun.
This google map snapshot will show how it was that day:
Here are the video clips of that day’s ride:
