Hyderabad: Using gas cutters, thieves damaged an ATM centre at Huzurnagar in Suryapet district and made away with Rs.20 lakh early Sunday.
They torched the ATM centre before fleeing in a white Toyota Fortuner SUV vehicle. On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and douse the flames with the help of fire-fighters. Clues team and fingerprint experts were pressed into service to collect evidence from the spot.
The suspect that thieves targeted the ATM centre only after scouting the area thoroughly.
