Aamir Khan to Quit Bollywood After Mahabharat? Fans Shocked!

Aamir Khan has always taken his own sweet time before choosing a project that aligns with his passion and ideologies—often vanishing
from the big screen for years before returning with a story worth telling.

In a recent interview, Aamir made an announcement that has left the fans curious and in a bit of emotional turmoil: Mahabharat will be the
final film project of his life.

Opening up about his inner turmoil after the failure of Laal SinghChaddha, Aamir revealed he was so disappointed and heartbroken, he had
decided to take his exit from the film industry once and for all.

The lockdown also triggered him to introspect on the lost time he never got to spend with his family and especially his children, which
further influenced his decision to walk away from the industry altogether.

After sharing this with his children, it was they who intervened and reminded him of his love for filmmaking, and their encouragement
helped him rediscover his purpose—that now seems to have led him to Mahabharat.

Aamir emphasized that this isn’t just another project for him but a legacy he hopes to leave behind—which may take years to prepare.

With Aamir approaching his 60s, the scale of Mahabharat demands deep historical research, a near-perfect ensemble cast, and a production
huge enough that it does justice to the epic.

While many are thrilled, some wonder if Aamir is the right choice to handle a story so sacred and culturally relevant in a deeply divided
society where any misstep won’t be overlooked.

Some believe RRR director SS Rajamouli is a better fit for such a monumental project considering his storytelling of period dramas is
authentic and truly resonates with the audience.

For now, Aamir is focused on promoting Sitaare Zameen Par, but his vision for Mahabharat continues to be the talk of the town.

Will this upcoming project be his magnum opus—or is this dream too big even for Mr. Perfectionist?
