Tata Harrier EV Officially Revealed – Launch Tomorrow

Tata Motors is all set to launch the much-awaited Harrier EV in India tomorrow (i.e. 3rd June, 2025). This will be Tata’s answer to the Mahindra XEV 9e, BYD Atto 3, Hyundai Creta Electric and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara. While its official prices will be announced tomorrow, the electric SUV is expected to be priced nearly Rs 25 lakh for the base variant and Rs 30 lakh for the fully-loaded, high-spec variant. Ahead of its market arrival, the carmaker has released a video showing the Tata Harrier EV in action.

Tata Harrier EV Officially Revealed – Launch Tomorrow

The home-grown carmaker had confirmed that the Harrier EV offers a maximum torque of 500Nm. It will come with both (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging capabilities. The EV will also support AWD (all-wheel drive) system.

Speculations suggest that the Harrier EV will be offered with two or more battery pack options. While the lower variant might get a single motor setup, the higher trims will feature a dual electric motor configuration. The official range figure is yet to be revealed; however, it’s expected to return an electric range of over 500km on a full charge.

Tata Harrier EV Features:

We haven’t seen its interior yet; however, the EV is likely to have a cabin layout similar to its ICE counterpart. In fact, most of the features will also be carried over the electric Harrier including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, touch-based HVAC panel, four spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, dual zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, a small drive selector and a rotary dial, electronic parking brake, hill hold assist, multiple airbags, Level 2 ADAS and more. A few EV-specific elements might also be introduced in the cabin.

Tata Harrier EV Design:

The electric Harrier will be built on the brand’s Gen 2 Acti.ev platform and feature a differently designed grille, updated front and rear bumpers, ‘EV’ badges and aero-optimized alloy wheels. The rest of its design and styling will remain largely identical to the ICE-powered Harrier.
