Here’s what the filmmaker said, “I think it is a rightful demand. I’m glad she’s in a position to ask for it. I think as a filmmaker, you will take that into consideration when you cast. It is not an unreasonable thing to ask, but an absolute necessity. I think that should be the priority. You have to acknowledge that, understand it and work around it.”
Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam is also in the news for his latest film Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan and Trisha.

Nevertheless, her stance has reignited a much-needed conversation about labour rights and the long-overdue professionalism Bollywood often sidesteps.
Deepika Padukone had an opportunity to establish herself on a pan-India level if she would have adjusted a few things. But it seems like sh ie willing to wait for some more time to get an opportunity similar to Spirit.
With almost a year left for release, let’s wait and see if Sandeep Reddy Vanga was correct on his side by casting Triptii Dimri by refusing the demands of Deepika.
