Renowned Tollywood celebrity hairstylist Ram Koniki, a trusted name in the Telugu film industry, unveiled the Vijayawada branch of his premium grooming studio, Salon Koniki, on Sunday. The event saw the gracious presence of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and popular actor Pawan Kalyan, who formally inaugurated the salon.
Ram Koniki, who is widely respected for his styling finesse, is known to work with more than 25 leading actors and artists in Tollywood. Among his elite clientele, Pawan Kalyan holds a special place—not just as a long-time patron, but also as a personal friend and mentor figure. Their bond is often described as more than professional, with many from the film industry referring to Ram as “the Hanuman who always stands by his Ram,” symbolizing loyalty and unwavering support.
The new studio, located on MG Road in Vijayawada, marks Ram’s continued expansion in the grooming and styling space. His first branch in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, was also inaugurated by Pawan Kalyan, making the Vijayawada launch a continuation of their shared journey. Interestingly, Ram had invited Pawan to launch the salon well before the latter assumed office as Deputy CM. Honoring that invitation and their deep-rooted bond, Ram waited for Pawan’s availability before officially opening the doors to the public.
With this new outlet, Salon Koniki aims to offer high-end, celebrity-grade grooming experiences to the people of Vijayawada, combining elegance, expertise, and a legacy of trust built over the years in Tollywood.
