Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has made all property tax-related services available online as part of its citizen-friendly move to enhance digital governance.
Residents can now access these services directly through the GHMC’s official website (www.ghmc.gov.in), eliminating the need to visit MeeSeva centres.
According to GHMC officials, the initiative is aimed at streamlining the application process and improving service delivery by allowing users to apply from the comfort of their homes.
To avail the services, applicants need to enter their Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN), upload the sale deed and other relevant documents based on the request type.
The system will then route the application to the concerned revenue officials for verification and approval. GHMC has also announced that the online facility for property mutation is currently under development and will be launched soon.
Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of the online platform for faster and hassle-free services, as part of GHMC’s broader effort to promote digital transformation in civic administration, the civic body officials said in a press release.
