Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 was released on June 6, 2025, and despite getting a mixed reaction from critics, the audience has accepted it. The collections have proved the same, and the comedy-drama has managed to maintain a strong hold on Monday.
As per the latest updates, Housefull 5 has collected somewhere between Rs. 11-12 crores on the fourth day, which is decent so far. However, the number should have been in the range of Rs. 14-15 crores.

The box office collection on Monday is still not bad, considering that Akshay’s film has managed to record more than Rs. 10 crores after the weekend. Based on this, it can be said that the film has possibly collected almost Rs. 90 crores in four days.
Furthermore, if the film can maintain this hold until Thursday, it will easily record a collection of Rs. 115 crores or Rs. 120 crores. But this is still not sufficient as the film needs to recover its budget of Rs. 225 crores.

The upcoming weekend will provide some help, but the film needs to do better than the records that it is creating right now.
Housefull 5 has to do a net collection of Rs. 250 crores to be named as a profitable film, which is impossible if the final collection for the first week is not more than Rs. 120 crores.

Back in 2019, Housefull 4 collected Rs. 210 crores, and the ticket prices were low at the time. But with high ticket prices this time, the collections should have been significantly better and higher.
It might emerge as a semi-hit or a general hit at the end of its theatrical run, as trade analysts are claiming that the film might record less than Rs. 200 crores.
It is not a flop, but it is still not a big hit that Akshay was expecting, and the overall figures are lower, considering the reputation of the Housefull franchise.
