The third-generation Hyundai Venue will hit roads during the Diwali season in 2025. The subcompact SUV will receive significant updates inside and out, while retaining the existing engine lineup.

The Hyundai Bayon compact crossover will come as a Maruti Fronx’s rival in 2026. Interestingly, it will mark debut of Hyundai’s new 1.2L TGDi petrol engine.

The Hyundai Exter and Verna facelifts have also been planned for next year. Both models will receive minimal design changes along with a few feature upgrades.

Hyundai will also roll out midlife updates for the i20 hatchback and Alcazar SUV sometime next year.

Showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 electric SUV is likely to make its way to India in 2026. The EV underpins the E-GMP platform and comes in two trims – Long Range (with RWD and AWD options) and Performance (only with AWD).

The Hyundai Instner Ev will be the brand’s answer to the Tata Punch EV, which is due for an update in FY2026. It could be offered with Standard 42kWh and Long-Range 49kWh battery options.

The South Korean automaker will introduce an all-new electric hatchback (codenamed HE1i) in late 2026. It will be Hyundai’s first mass-market EV based on the skateboard platform and it’s expected to be priced between Rs 10-15 lakh.

The new-generation Hyundai Creta will arrive with a hybrid powertrain in early 2028. The SUV will also witness comprehensive changes inside and out. The updated Creta electric is scheduled to launch in 2026.

Hyundai Motor India is also planning to introduce electric versions of the Grand i10 Nios hatchback and Venue subcompact SUV by 2028.

The Hyundai Palisade 7/8-seater hybrid SUV is also part of the brand’s ambitious product strategy. This SUV is expected to launch in 2028.

Hyundai currently has no offering in the MPV segment, while its sibling Kia is performing well with the Carens and Carnival. To fill this gap, the carmaker might introduce the Staria people-mover by 2028 or 2029. The MPV made its India debut at the Auto Expo.
