Telangana Bus Fare Hike: Following the recent fare hike by the Karnataka government, the Telangana Congress government has now increased bus pass fares across all categories by 20–30 per cent. The revised rates by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) came into effect on Monday. The hike applies to ordinary, metro express, and metro deluxe passes.
Here’s the revised TGSRTC bus pass fare in pointers:
- Students General Bus Ticket: Increased from Rs 400 to Rs 600
- GBT Ordinary Pass: Hiked from Rs 1,150 to Rs 1,400
- GBT Metro Express Pass: Raised from Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,600
- GBT Metro Deluxe Pass: Increased from Rs 1,450 to Rs 1,800
Revised TGSRTC Student Bus Pass Tariffs
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has updated student bus pass fares across various categories for Hyderabad, Warangal, and district areas. Here’s the updated fare structure:
1. Monthly Route Passes – Hyderabad/Warangal (City):
- Up to 4 KM: Rs 150 TO Rs 225
- Up to 8 KM: Rs 200 TO Rs 300
- Up to 12 KM: Rs 300 TO Rs 450
- Up to 18 KM: Rs 390 TO Rs 585
- Up to 22 KM: Rs 450 TO Rs 675
2. Monthly Route Passes – Districts:
- Up to 5 KM: Rs 150 TO Rs 225
- Up to 10 KM: Rs 250 TO Rs 375
- Up to 15 KM: Rs 300 TO Rs 450
- Up to 20 KM: Rs 400 TO Rs 600
- Up to 25 KM: Rs 450 TO Rs 675
- Up to 30 KM: Rs 500 TO Rs 750
- Up to 35 KM: Rs 550 TO Rs 825
