Even with an aggressive schedule, it will take at least two to three more months to finalize the script. Pre-production will likely add another seven to eight months. At this pace, the film won’t go on floors for at least a year.

On the other side, Shah Rukh Khan is currently immersed in King, his next big-budget film. The project demands his full attention. While SRK may be open to working with Sukumar in the future, there are no official plans or timelines in place.
So, where did these rumors originate? Likely from the recent success of Mythri’s Jaat, which performed well with a section of mass audience. That success appears to have sparked media speculation about Sukumar’s potential Bollywood debut.
But for now, Sukumar remains firmly rooted in Telugu cinema. His focus is on delivering another blockbuster with Ram Charan, especially after their previous hit, Rangasthalam.
Bottom line: A Sukumar–SRK film may happen someday — but not before 2027. Until then, it’s all just speculation and hype.
