A class X student was killed and another student injured when the bike they were riding ploughed into a roadside ditch in Adilabad town on Friday (March 14, 2025).
Police identified the deceased as 15-year-old Rushi Kumar, of Kotha Kummariwada in the district headquarters town of Adilabad. The pillion rider identified as 15-year-old Premkumar, suffered multiple injuries in the incident.
According to sources, the accident took place on the outskirts of Adilabad town on Friday afternoon when they were returning to their houses after celebrating Holi. The Adilabad one-town police registered a case and are investigating.
