BHPian Tony2298 recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Major Service Update Updating the thread after a long time since there’s been nothing unusual to report and the SUV has been a true workhorse, done a couple of trips to GJ apart from my usual highway commutes on the Mumbai Pune expressway and NH48, the latters’ condition has been improving of late with expansion complete on many stretches but still a very long way to go. Anyways, coming back to service, the procedure was pretty much a standard affair, booked the appointment prior, visited the ASC on time, once again got a very warm welcome from SA, GM, CRM and entire team of the ASC. In fact GM personally took a TD, reported slight right pulling issue and even though there was shortage of labour owing to Eid, he personally ensured that they would keep no stone unturned and provide the best possible repair services for my car although they asked me they would require an entire day to which I didn’t have any issue since it’s a weekend and anyways I had my beloved i20 at my disposal. I asked the SA to take his own sweet time, repair the car properly and get it dropped at my residence while I took a leave from the ASC as I didn’t have anything to supervise since I know my car is at safe hands, afterall they are the people who are looking after all the Hyundais in our family since past 25 years now! Upon their credit though, the SA kept me updated through each and every process and sent a ton of photos, videos etc on the group. The repair job took the entire day even after the entire ASC gave their 100% priority to my SUV only and they fondly call my SUV as their own car which will always be treated with a special touch! However, due to aforementioned labour shortage, they couldn’t arrange a driver and promised to deliver the car the next morning to which I was totally cool. SA kept me updated with tons of photos and videos being sent to me via the WhatsApp group Next morning itself, got a call from driver who confirmed the drop location and delivered the car which was squeaky clean inside and out, got a call from SA who asked if the car was delivered or not and am I satisfied with the cleanliness of the car since it had rained a bit the previous night and he had to get the car washed once again thoroughly. I appreciated his extra efforts and it’s the result of being loyal and polite to these people who already have so much on their plates, being nice to them doesn’t cost us anything and it turns out to be a win-win situation for all of us at the end of the day! The final bill did come out a bit expensive since all sorts of filters were changed and the cost of Shell synthetic oil has increased a bit but I can’t say that I was overcharged for anything and I had intentionally opted for services viz interior cleaning, A/C disinfection, WA/WB etc to keep the SA and ASC happy.
