Hyderabad: A popular Telugu female singer’s birthday celebration has led to controversy with police conducting surprise raids on the celebrations held at a resort in Chevella on the city outskirts and allegedly seizing large amounts of marijuana and foreign liquor on Tuesday midnight.
As per reports, many guests who attended this party tested positive for drugs in the drug tests conducted on them.
According to available information, a large number of film and political celebrities as well as many youth attended this party.
The Cyberabad police raided the resort after receiving information that drugs were being used at the party.
A large amount of marijuana and various types of foreign liquor bottles were found during these searches.
The police detained many people who were present at the party and conducted drug tests on them. It is learnt that some of the samples tested positive for drugs.
It is learnt that some of the people who used drugs are children of celebrities.
The police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
The police are also focusing on the role of the party organizers.
