Hyderabad Weather: Heavy rain lashed parts of Hyderabad and Southern Telangana on Wednesday and Thursday night. According to reports, the University of Hyderabad (UoH) in Serillingampally Mandal received 14.8 cm of rain, while MMTS Lingampally and the PJR Stadium received 11.4 cm and 10.9 cm, respectively.
Overnight rainfall created severe waterlogging in Hyderabad, causing sluggish traffic.
The meteorological agency forecasts severe rainfall in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Jagitial, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
Hyderabad is expected to have a rainy spell in the next days, with the IMD forecasting a mainly gloomy sky and frequent bouts of rain or thundershowers.

According to the seven-day prediction, rainfall is forecast to continue at least until June 19, providing much-needed relief from the summer heat.
Light rain or sporadic thunderstorms are predicted for the city on June 13 and 14, with mostly overcast skies. The lowest temperature will be constant at 23 degrees Celsius, while the highest will be at 32 degrees Celsius.
A decrease in daytime temperatures, which will drop to 30 degrees Celsius on June 17, is expected to accompany the moderate rain that is expected to increase in different sections of the city from June 15 to June 17.
