KTR slams Revanth, calls ACB notices ‘diversion tactics’

Hyderabad: Responding to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) notices, BRS working president KT Rama Rao criticised chief minister A Revanth Reddy for repeatedly issuing notices in the Formula-E case, calling it a diversion tactic to distract the public from his administrative failures. Confirming that he received a fresh ACB notice on Friday, the BRS leader said that, as a law-abiding citizen, he would fully cooperate and appear before the ACB on Monday at 10 am. “The Congress came to power on false promises and is now resorting to circus-like distractions to cover up its incompetence. The CM is trying to shift focus from his govt failures. No matter how many notices he sends, this bankrupt Congress govt cannot stop us from being the voice of the people of Telangana,” said the former minister. He stated that ₹44 crore had been transferred transparently and officially from the HMDA’s govt account to the Formula-E organisers, and that the money still remains in the organisers’ account. “Yet the cheif minister, who failed to retrieve this money due to sheer administrative incapacity, is now once again using ACB to create a political spectacle,” he said.KTR reminded that the Formula-E event brought global recognition to Hyderabad and Telangana. Instead of taking pride in it, the chief minister chose to cancel the race for political reasons. He accused Revanth Reddy of deliberately avoiding efforts to recover public funds and instead weaponising the issue to harass political opponents. “Regardless of how many times they summon me, the fact remains that every rupee was spent with transparency. Everyone knows the truth,” he said. The BRS leader also dared chief minister to take a lie detector test live on television along with him, in the presence of a judge, as both were facing ACB cases. “Let the people of Telangana decide who is guilty and who is not,” KTR challenged.
