The new-generation Mahindra Bolero is set to debut on 15th August, 2025. Ahead of its official unveiling, the all-new model has been spotted multiple times with heavy camouflage, revealing some intriguing details. The latest set of spy images confirms the presence of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), marking a significant safety upgrade for the SUV. The test mule’s new ORVMs have integrated cameras and sensors for the ADAS suite.

ADAS Suite
The new Mahindra Bolero is likely to offer Level 2 ADAS as we have seen in the XUV 3XO. It might include features such as auto emergency braking system, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition and more. However, the ADAS tech could be reserved for the top-end variants.

Thar-inspired Design
Spy images also reveal the all-new Bolero will feature circular LED headlamps inspired by the Thar. The SUV will retain the boxy and upright stance and sport the signature grille with parallel-running slats carried over from the current generation. The front bumper and alloy wheels might also be revised. At the back, the new Mahindra Bolero will continue to feature the tailgate-mounted spare tyre.
Upgraded Interior
Along with the ADAS safety upgrade, the 2026 Mahindra Bolero is likely to witness significant upgrades inside the cabin. The SUV is expected to receive a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, USB charging ports, rear AC vents, steering mounted controls and more.
New Platform, Same Engine
Ditching the existing ladder frame chassis, the new Mahindra Bolero will be underpinned by an all-new NFA (New Flexible Architecture) platform. However, no changes will be made to its engine setup. The SUV’s all-new model will continue to use a mHawk diesel engine, generating a maximum power of 75PS and 210Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be performed by the same 5-speed manual gearbox.
Mahindra & Mahindra has confirmed that the new-gen Bolero and Bolero EV will arrive in 2026. The carmaker might also consider a petrol-hybrid powertrain for the SUV. All three models will certainly be more expensive than the current Bolero, which is priced between Rs 9.79 lakh – Rs 10.91 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
