The first season of “Rana Naidu” created major buzz, marking Venkatesh Daggubati’s OTT debut and receiving heavy promotion from Netflix. Despite the mixed reactions to its bold content and expletive-laden dialogue, the show garnered strong viewership and online chatter.
However, the second season failed to generate similar excitement. With minimal promotion and little enthusiasm from Venkatesh himself, “Rana Naidu 2” landed quietly on Netflix. And early reviews have been largely negative.
“Rana Naidu Season 2 is a letdown. It blows hot and cold,” stated NDTV in its review. Other outlets echoed similar sentiments, pointing to a weak narrative and Venkatesh’s uninspired performance as key letdowns.
