The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning in six Telangana districts for Sunday, June 15.
According to the latest weather bulletin, heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. In addition to the rainfall alert, the IMD has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds across all districts of the State.
In Hyderabad and surrounding areas, the weather over the next 24 hours is expected to remain generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, at times with intense spells, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are very likely, the IMD said. Hazy conditions are also expected to prevail during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are likely to be around 31°C and 23°C respectively.
