The Southwest monsoons are expected to remain active, bringing heavy rains, thundershowers, lightning, and gusty winds across Telangana for the next week, according to the Hyderabad MET department’s forecast issued on Sunday evening.

Thanks to the extensive cloud cover and hazy early morning conditions, the maximum temperatures in Hyderabad and its neighboring districts including Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts will hover between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius.
The IMD-Hyderabad also issued an alert on thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds for all districts of Telangana for the next one week. Almost all the districts are also expected to receive thundershowers and lightning during the course of the upcoming week.
