A 2018 batch IAS officer Priyanka Ch took charge as special commissioner of the Telangana Information and Public Relations department on Monday (June 16, 2025). Earlier, she served as deputy secretary of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) department.
A B. Tech graduate from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, she worked at Goldman Sachs, New York.
Ms. Priyanka joined as deputy collector in 2012 after clearing State Public Service Commission exam (Group 1). She is an Indian Administrative Service (AIS) officer of 2018 batch.
She worked as a revenue divisional officer (RDO) Amalapuram; special deputy collector (Tribal Welfare) Utnoor, Adilabad; special deputy collector (Land Acquisition) in Mancherial; chief executive officer, Zilla Parishad in Khammam and Karimnagar districts and additional collector for Local Bodies in Suryapet district.
Mr. Priyanka was one of the several officers who was transferred and given new postings as part of a major reshuffle taken up by the State government recently.
