Mahindra & Mahindra has been testing a new SUV for a while now. While the spied test mules were heavily camouflaged concealing their identity and details, the vehicle is expected to be the new-generation Mahindra Bolero slates to arrive in 2026. The latest spy images show the SUV’s upright and boxy stance along with the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyres. The new Mahindra Bolero will also receive a significant upgrade in the form of a panoramic sunroof – a feature currently in demand.
Feature-Packed Interior:

The SUV will borrow several features from the Scorpio N such as a semi-digital instrument cluster with a large colour TFT MID and dual zone climate control. The higher trim could be offered with a fully digital instrument console along with the ADAS suite. The new Bolero is expected to come with the Level 2 ADAS system, offering features such as lane departure warning, auto emergency braking system, forward collision warning and traffic sign recognition.
The feature list might also include a 10.2-inch free-standing infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, powered driver’s seat, auto dimming IRVM, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, push button start, keyless go, ambient lighting, multiple airbags and more.

Thar-Inspired Design?
Similar to the Thar, the new Mahindra Bolero might feature circular LED headlamps and a signature ‘Twin Peak’ grille with parallel running slats. The overall styling could also be revised with slightly tweaked bumpers and newly-designed alloy wheels, while the tailgate mounted spare tyre will be carried over to the new model.
New Platform, Same Engine:
A major highlight of the next-gen Bolero will be the all-new NFA (New Flexible Architecture) platform, which is set to debut on 15th August, 2025. As far as engine is concerned, the new Mahindra Bolero will continue to feature a mHawk diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This motor churns out a maximum power of 75PS and 210Nm of torque.
