Ajith Kumar scored a huge commercial hit with the gangster action drama Good Bad Ugly. The film was directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who earlier helmed the blockbuster Mark Antony. Ajith was mightily impressed with Adhik’s working style and offered him one more film.
According to a report in DT Next, Mohanlal has been approached by Adhik Ravichandran for the Ajith starrer, tentatively titled AK 64. The report mentioned, “Adhik, too, has narrated the story to Mohanlal. The producers are finalising the remuneration for the six-time National award-winning actor. If this happens, AK 64 will be a casting coup of sorts.”
There have also been rumors that the Sandalwood beauty Srinidhi Shetty will play the leading lady opposite Ajith. Mythri Movie Makers, the production house that backed Good Bad Ugly, is expected to bankroll this big-ticket entertainer.
