Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy urged the Union Minister for Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar to expedite the approvals for the proposed Hyderabad Metro Phase-II project.
The Chief Minister met Khattar in New Delhi on Thursday and briefed him on the significance of the 76.4-km-long Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II project. He informed the Union Minister that the Detailed Project Report (DPR), incorporating all suggested amendments, had already been submitted.
Meets former UK PM Tony Blair
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister held discussions with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and shared key components of the ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision, which is scheduled to be launched on December 9, 2025.
A Letter of Intent was exchanged between the Telangana government and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBIGC) to collaborate on the formulation and execution of the Telangana Rising vision.
